AGES/GRADES: Males and females ages 5-22 in grades K-12 in either residential or day program; residential is 365 days a year and day program is 12 months.
THERAPEUTIC SERVICES: Services include: individual, group and family therapies; parenting effectiveness program; psychiatric and psychological services; medication management; and experiential learning groups.
THERAPEUTIC ORIENTATION: Approach treatment from a social-emotional orientation which integrates a developmental, trauma informed, and strength-based perspective focusing on children gaining strong social competencies, developing self control, and reuniting with family and community.
POPULATION SERVED: Range of significant mental health and behavioral issues including autism spectrum disorders, bipolar, depression, ADHD, abuse reactive, schizophrenia, psychosis and other related problems.
COMMENTS: Perkins also has an on-site, community-based behavioral health practice that specializes in treating the mental health and behavioral health needs of children, adolescents, adults and their families.
