ADMISSIONS: Psychiatric and eating disorders intake and evaluation: 781-647-6727.

PSYCHIATRIC DISORDERS: 16 years and older on 24-bed locked unit.

EATING DISORDERS ADOLESCENT/ADULT: 12 years and older on 23-bed locked unit.

EATING DISORDERS ADULT RESIDENTIAL PROGRAM: 18 years and older, with 14 bed total.

EATING DISORDERS ADOLESCENT RESIDENTIAL PROGRAM: 12-17 years, with 8 bed total.

EATING DISORDERS ADULT PARTIAL HOSPITAL: 18 years and older for 6 hrs/day, 5 days/week.

EATING DISORDERS ADOLESCENT PARTIAL HOSPITAL: 12-17 years, for 6 hrs/day, 5 days/week.

EATING DISORDERS ADULT INTENSIVE OUTPATIENT: 18 years and older; 3 hrs./day, 3 days a week.

EATING DISORDERS ADOLESCENT IOP: Ages 12-17 and their families; 3 hrs./day, 3 days/week.

BINGE EATING DISORDER ADULT IOP: Intensive Outpatient Program for binge eating, 18 years and older, 3 hrs./day, 3 days/week.

SPECIALTIES: Full continuum of care for treatment of eating disorders, including anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, OSFED (Other Specified Feeding or Eating Disorders), ARFID (Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder), co-occurring disorders, Type 1 diabetes and eating disorders, athlete eating disorders program.

INSURANCE: All indemnity plans, and most managed care plans including Aetna, BC/BS, Beacon Health Options, Cigna, Magellan, Optum, Tricare, and Tufts Health Plan.

COMMENTS: Walden’s eight clinics in New England located in MA (Amherst, Braintree, Milford, Peabody, Waltham, Worcester) and CT (Guilford and South Windsor). The clinics provide partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient programs and outpatient services including binge eating programs for adolescents and adults. Walden has two inpatient units (Waltham, MA and Vernon, CT), and residential treatment programs are located in Waltham, MA. There are also three clinics in Georgia (Alpharetta, Decatur, and Dunwoody).
