ADULT MEDICAL/GERIATRIC: 18 years and older on a 21-bed locked unit.

DAY/PARTIAL HOSPITAL: Adult program ages 18 and older. Includes a dual diagnosis intensive outpatient program.

INSURANCE: Most accepted.

COMMENTS: Maine Medical Center offers the state’s only unit dedicated to the treatment of older adults who experience dementia and dementia-related disorders, and adults of all ages with co-morbid medical complications. Outpatient treatment includes specialty clinics for children, adolescents, adults and older adults. A partial hospital and dual diagnosis intensive outpatient program for adults round out the hospital’s outpatient services.
