New England School for Girls Program

AGES/GRADES: Girls ages 13-19.
THERAPEUTIC SERVICES: Provide individualized treatment, promoting trauma-informed care and inclusive education.
THERAPEUTIC ORIENTATION: The intensive phase-based trauma treatment center has the capacity to offer an individualized continuum of care through subacute units with moving forward units, for adolescent girls to move past the need for long term hospitalization, repetitive hospitalization and repetitive treatment attempts. Program is informed by the Attachment, Regulation and Competency (ARC) Framework, EMDR psychotherapy as well as trauma-focused cognitive behavioral treatment.
POPULATION SERVED: Specialize in individualized treatment of girls who display severe acute symptoms most notably, repetitive suicide attempts, life threatening self-harm, high risk exploitation, and severe aggression towards others.

THERAPEUTIC ORIENTATION: Program is informed by the Attachment, Regulation and Competency (ARC) Framework, EMDR psychotherapy as well as trauma-focused cognitive behavioral treatment. Adjunctive therapies are offered in small group settings.
POPULATION SERVED: Specialize in the treatment of mental health and emotional challenges, substance abuse, traumatic stress, self-harm and suicidality as well as educational disabilities in an interdisciplinary integrated milieu.
